
Transport for Troops is committed to reimbursing all out-of-pocket expenses service members incur during an ordered move. To cover this pledge, Transport for Troops allocates 75% of all funds raised to our Reimbursement Fund which is ethically managed and disbursed directly to the service members we support.
While we do everything possible to cover these costs as soon as possible, the current wait time is 24 months. With that in mind, Transport for Troops has launched our Priority Reimbursement Groups. As of 2025, our timeline for these reimbursements is as follows:
Urgent: 6 to 12 months from date of application
Priority: 12 to 24 months from date of application
Routine: 24+ months from date of application
